No seasons so touches our spirits as this season of Christmas, the birth of our savior, Christ our Lord. This is one of the happiest days of the year for everyone ….
there is a special magic in the air.
On these festive days, the central sacrament of our Catholic, Christian faith is the Eucharist. Our celebration continues as we share gifts, memories, stories, laughter and feast with family and friends. As followers of Christ, all the festivities are secondary.
It is Jesus who is the reason for the season. Christmas is the celebration which reminds us that God loves us so much that He sent His son among us as a man. Jesus the Word made flesh dwells among us.
Because of God’s endless love for humanity, Christmas is an ideal time to express love and good wishes for those whom we care and cherished. And I would like to take this opportunity to thank all who are involved in the many ministries and activities in the parish.
May God continue to bless you, your family and friends as you celebrate the birth of our Lord. On behalf of the faith family of St. Joseph Parish, I want to wish you one and all a blessed, holy and peaceful Christmas and a prosperous New Year.
